Now it's the RedBulls fans. they may be even louder than the DC guys who, for reasons beyond imagining, had 50 seats saved for them up front.

Philadelphia: I love you guys, really, but you're getting schooled.

The noise in here is deafening.

I hope he performs well and is a positive influence for our young guys. If he doesn't, he's gonna be real easy to hate.

What sucks even more is that we'll probably be missing 5 players on 8/11 and have tired players on 8/14.

Marquez to Mexico
Miller to Costa Rica
Richards to Jamaica
Bouna to Senegal
Lindpere to Estonia

MLS geniuses scheduling a game on a Fifa international date AND having us play 3 games in 7 days. That LA game is sold out and we'll most likely see RBNY players out of gas.

“We will be shorthanded probably with five players against Toronto [Aug. 11] and we will have exhausted players against the Galaxy [Aug. 14] with players coming from Paraguay and Estonia,” Backe said. “I’m a little frustrated by that. I don’t see how that can be fair.”

LET'S GO REDBULLS!!!!

Apparently RBNY will not be missing Lindpere. Estonian national team coach said that Lindpere will miss the Faroe-Islands game because he would have too tight schedule after the game on 8th. (in more clearer words, our coach believes we will manage to win Faroe even without Lindpere).

Legitimate question here.........

How long will it be until people on this board start ripping him a new ass, saying he isn't a central midfielder, begging him to be put back in defense?

A few posts later I predicted 3 games. I can't believe I overestimated our fans.

It only took 2 games.

The New York Red Bulls previously kicked around Major League Soccer as the MetroStars with limited success. But after transforming under a new banner in 2005, the Red Bulls have become a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference. The club has made leaps of progress since its previous incarnation and now has its focus on bringing the league title to New York.
