BILD has a paywall but from what I recall they are a reliable source in Germany. At the reported price RBNY would get about $14M from this transfer due to the 33% sell-on fee built into the move to Leipzig.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

I say turn the $14 million over to Milo and let him buy us a real striker and a center midfielder. Maybe there will be some $$ leftover for some other additions.

Is there any difference between the $14M going to us rather than Leipzig beyond accounting semantics?
Regardless, it makes a big difference metaphorically. That's $14M we've generated for the company piggybank through our academy and we better see a proportional investment in the first team squad to reflect that. Doesn't have to be all $14M and certainly not all at once, but we better be signing some quality players this winter if the Adams transfer does go through.

It matters more to them, for FFP reasons.

There's a leap of faith that the $14M actually goes towards our club since there is zero transparency there, but ultimately no it shouldn't matter. I remember taking a look at the overall inbound/outbound transfer values over the years and it was pretty much breakeven, so there is reason to think that Red Bull actually spends what it makes from player sales and doesn't just line Dietrich's pockets.
I'm sure some of it will go towards the new training facility, but for sure the hope is to see a splash or two on the other end of this.

RB soccer is at best a diversion for DM.think that Red Bull actually spends what it makes from player sales and doesn't just line Dietrich's pockets.
It is just a write-off for the energy drink.
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

So this prob means that if the academy buildings were 2 stories tall, now they can adjust it to 5 stories. Construction ain't cheap.
Vamos buildings!

2 DP spots open heading into the winter, one of the worst attacks in MLS. Seems pretty simple to me.
Seems simple to the front office too.
How can we have THREE open DP spots and spend less?
Or
How can we find more Klimalas?
