Did you happen to notice if that will be available at all gates? That option has been available, but RBA only had that technology available at 1 of the gates. Gate B, if I remember correctly.

Probably not. Technology costs money.

Absolutely hate Ticketmaster. Was getting a $15 ticket to an event and the final cost was over $33. How is it even possible that their fees are more than the actual ticket price?!

Sweet, so when they started selling tickets for opening game, they said that ticketmaster is temporary and they will launch their own site in few weeks.  Now, look at this, they added RB logo in the header.. I guess we are stuck with bullshit ticketmaster fees now.  :)+

They can get away with that sort of stuff because by and large this fanbase will piss and moan about everything and do little to bring about change. Keep laying out your cash for their products, and that includes match tickets, and everything will remain status quo.

Yeah I guess.  The sound will be loud and clear when attendance falls to Chivas USA levels next year...

Maybe the best option at this point is to buy tickets on a game by game  basis when you get to the stadium.  That's what I've done for several years now..

Why because every other USL team is giving their tickets away for free for these games?

Yeah. A little off base with that complaint.   I'd expect to have to pay for the tickets.

Just disappointing (again, but not surprising) that there is no other creative thought behind it like what Seattle and Portland are doing with the their II teams to get the fans more involved and invested.

If you want tix to 101, you have to do what you have to do.

If you just want to get into the stadium, you literally never have to pay a cent.  I'll tell everyone the secret.  Red Bulls gives away hundrends, maybe thousands of free tickets every single game to youth soccer teams.  Barely any of the kids and their parents use them.  Just wander around outside and look around for suburban white soccer mom's and dad's with young kids.  They're bound to have 20-40 tickets in their pocket not being used.  They'll usually give you the tickets for free because they tend to be nice people and feel guilty about having all of these unused tickets in their pocket.

I've done this many times when it's not a big or sellout type game.

The New York Red Bulls previously kicked around Major League Soccer as the MetroStars with limited success. But after transforming under a new banner in 2005, the Red Bulls have become a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference. The club has made leaps of progress since its previous incarnation and now has its focus on bringing the league title to New York.
