If we're loaning talent, I wish to christ MLS would fucking say something!
There's (yet another) story there that they are missing on putting out there.
Pregame pints 15. Ticket to the game 60. Carlsburg, Meatpie and Crisps 16. Seeing an American score on another American at a Premier League match in England; Priceless.
"i just like to be careful right b4 i go on a first date with a chick. too much weird comments on facebook and im dead from the start" - JayDelight
"There's nothing good about my team, my team is shit!" (Harraby Lad to Alexi Lalas about Carlisle United)
And then, just like that, his halitosis and jersey were gone. -Bobby Boswell on Bobbygate

It seems Philly fans have signed up on metrofanatic to vote for themselves (in 'What team do you hate more?') . No real fan of this team would vote anything other than DC.

It would be nice if they told us this was happening, but nothing surprises me in this league anymore.
If he is loaned out for the season, that should up another roster spot I would think.
"Obviously, I want to make a living (in soccer), to say the least," he said. "There's so much you can accomplish in the soccer world, and right now I'm focused on having a good season with the Red Bulls. Ultimately, our goal is to win the MLS Cup, and I see no reason why we can't." - #4 Tyler Adams

It definitely happened before, when MLS and A-League/USL had a two-way loan agreement. Zach Thornton played for the NJ Imperials, and a bunch of Metros played for LIRR... But there is no agreement now, and nothing was announced by either team. It's a great idea to keep players active. It was done once by Metro in 98. Jim Rooney to Staten Island (A-league) during a red card suspension combined with an all-star weekend. He played 2 games for them. Scored in one. They had a win and a tie. I was pissed because I was following LI who was battling SI, and Rooney had been on our team in 97. SI Vipers is the team that beat us in the 1999 US Open.
Well, it's indeed a loan:
Sinisa Ubiparipovic was playing on loan for the Thunder

Nothing special there. Who did not beat us in '99?

I swear I saw Sinisa warming up at the game on Thursday night.
Yes, Sinisa was in the house.
"They better keep playing that RB Arena update because that unbuilt stadium is the only positive thing about this soft-drink-selling, coached-by-a-dumbass, trading-good-players-for-shit, hopeless, retarded, club." - MetroFanatic
"It was always six weeks away. Every month, [Nick Sakiewicz] would say, we're six weeks away from the stadium. It's been the longest six weeks of my life." - Mike Petke
"I think every country can learn everything about each other. If the whole world can be together, it can be good." - Mathias Jorgensen
"I want to give you lots of titles for your happiness. Lots of hugs.” - Fabio
