Did Meara save that big shot off the post or it just hit the post directly? If its a save, probably as good a save as Ive seen in a very long time.
Hit the post directly, they didn't show the replay that actually showed that until after the game.

Agreed. The problem is that Duncan is the only guy capable at this level at the left back, and he does need some rest every now and again.
Duncan is the starting right back. He can play left back when needed, but that's Pendant's role currently.

I liked what I saw out of Omir and Mines, very promising. Jorgen$en didn't look bad either. Liked Valot at the other CDM spot. Fine with Egbo and the CBs. Seacrest isn't ready.
RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.
RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee

biggest reminder from this game is how much we've missed having a willing runner with pace in the front 4 . Mines isnt good enough to be a everyday starter atm, but stylistically having someone whose first instinct is to either make hard runs at defenders or has the able to dribble past people opens the game up for Kaku. I know thats what they hoped Sims would do for us, but there always needs to be someone starting at this point that can do this job. When we play any combo Valot/Kaku/Royer/Stroud/Omir they cannibalize each other.
Only players skillset wise that can do this until Tetteh is ready are Barlow (not good enough), Mines (promising), and Jorgy (???)

We can only hope one of our players looks to Jordan Morris who was a good forward when entering the league post college and has really grown and now seems to be 2nd best attacker in MLS after Vela

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.
