I love it when players or teams claim that a training is not a trial. If the player looks good in training, the team will try to sign him.

Of all the places in the world to train, why would it be at RBNY. Makes no sense.

Let's see where this goes....

"Obviously, I want to make a living (in soccer), to say the least," he said. "There's so much you can accomplish in the soccer world, and right now I'm focused on having a good season with the Red Bulls. Ultimately, our goal is to win the MLS Cup, and I see no reason why we can't." - #4 Tyler Adams

Henry: Arsenal & Barca & RBNY

Song: Arsenal & Barca &  RBNY

Hmmm, must be a connection somewhere but it makes no sense...

Hm.

I'd be interested at TAM level salary but not DP figures.

What a strange career trajectory.

A strange career trajectory that makes a lot more sense if he is actually 4 to 5 years older than his officially reported age.

Have to figure it would be TAM level which really makes this a worthwhile discussion.

Don't know if his age is legit but assuming it is, he very well could have something left.  We have so many young kids that adding an older guy isn't exactly the worst thing in the world.  Especially a guy who played at the highest level.

The only way it doesn't really work out great is figuring out a way to get him on the field positionally.

Doesnt fit the model, but maybe an Adams replacement, if Tyler moves in the summer.

call me crazy but i'm ok with our roster as it is.  I think Song is an upgrade over our central mids, but not enough to disrupt the roster.  I'd almost rather they make the Rza loan permanent since he's younger and presumably a smaller cap hit than Song.

Since Song is training with us, does that mean we have his Discovery rights? Maybe we can trade them to another MLS team for some extra TAM.

As an Arsenal fan, I’d take Song in a heartbeat, I used to love watching him play. Not sure how our midfield would lineup, we can’t have 4 center mids on the field.

He may in fact be here just getting back in shape on Henry's suggestion...

Training for what exactly? Cameroon is not in the World Cup. This is a trial but not sure if we need another CM.
