Is there any in this rout with authority to treat with me? Or indeed with wit to understand me?

Glad the U.S. Open Cup is back. It's a great competition with an amazing history. Would love it if management took it serious.

Where did you get this info from?  Not questioning its validity, would just like to see the full bracket. :)

I would assume they would considering all the academy games are open to the public.

Would love an away USOC game at Hofstra. Even if we don't take the tournament seriously, that game alone would be fun enough to be worth it.

I'm sure this has been addressed, but do any of the rostered U-23's (Miazga, Bover, etc.)  play for the U-23's?  I would hink we wouldn't want them Cup-tied, in case we need them for the big boy squad.

No. The U-23s is an amateur team which enables players to maintain their college eligibility.

Yeah, its not really a legitimate pro/ semi pro side like LA Galaxy II or a traditional pro team's reserves..the are decent in their league,  on par with Brooklyn Italians. But i would not expect much out of them in the USOC, if the get past the first round that would be a great achievement for them.

Saw the U23 team play against Brooklyn Italians once.  Just a collection of players that didn't seem to play well together, judging by the 4-0 scoreline.

They don't really practice much and a lot of it is "who is going to show up this week." Unfortunately, this is a problem that won't go away. College players still won't be able to play with the Red Bull Reserves when they enter USL Pro next season. Academy players will be able to, however.
