If Dax starts, he matches Petke's league record for most starts, 158.

And, of course, BWP is now tied with JPA for all-time goals with 62 (all competitions): http://www.metrofana...eam/chase63.jsp

We stink on the road + going into a stadium where we gave had a horrible time winning = 3 points?

I wonder if maybe we see Sean Davis and give someone a break for CCL on Wednesday. Maybe just a little nod to giving it as much as we can in that competition.

With @CHI and @LA around it, it's probably gonna have to be a full-A team for both and something like the Club America lineup for Antigua.

Honestly, and I really, really hate to say this, but Grella needs a break in my eyes. Has been pretty non-existant the past few games, did nothing but dribble into traffic and lose the ball today.

He seems a little bit tentative, which is kinda bizarre for him.

While Chicago are last in the East, they have 6 wins & 1 draw in their last 7 home matches.

3W-1T in MLS, 3W in USOC.

Meanwhile, our only road win was the 7-0 lambasting of NYC.  (1W-7L-3T)

We beat the Fire 1-0 @ RBA on May 18, on the lone shot on goal, by Grella off a turnover.

It's going to take both a loss of home form, plus a big change in away form, for us to pick up points.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Chicago is not a good team and we finally managed to win at Bridgeview last year but still our road form going in has me feeling not too confident. As mentioned, some lineup rotation is gonna be needed with CCL game upcoming.

The Fire suck, but they will always have a special place in my heart because they were our hapless opponents for both our Supporters Shield clinching victories, plus they were the basis for this amazing Ferris Bueller's Day Off parody trailer (co-starring Thierry Henry as the Maitre D'): https://www.youtube....h?v=TfI4_Ay_Cxc

Maybe put Veron in for Muyl/Grella and Duvall for Zizzo but don't change much else next Sunday. Rotate more significantly in the CCL, not in the league when we finally have a chance to go above .500 and possibly go top in the East. We get a week's rest for Chicago, the starters should be fine.
