I won't be surprised in the least if they lose. I'm not impressed at all by the roster.

To all you Wondo lovers.. he's back!!

Is it just me or does this lineup look basically identical to what JK was calling into camp?

https://www.socceram...-qualifier.html

That would make sense. You've guys that have played together and are familiar with each other. Also, while JK would leave some guys out, he did usually call up the better players we have. He just used them incredibly poorly.

They should not lose at home to Honduras. Ever. A pure MLS roster should beat Honduras at home.

I wonder if Wondo getting called up is due to Morris potentially being unable to play. He made it through the whole match the other night, but he looked pretty banged up. Not a like for like replacement at all, but I'm not sure if there is another MLS guy that would provide anything close to the same dimension. Plus, with Arena calling up Sacha instead of a true forward to replace Wood, Wondo at least gives you a body on the bench. With the match being played in San Jose, it makes sense.

There's really a lack of depth in the US pool.

exactly.  The guy probably has to probably walk to the next practice field to join the USMNT team instead of SJE.

Morris might have been injured, Wondo is a good locker room guy and if desperately needed can be on the bench.

One bad world cup showing got him canned. USA is playing better this game than they have in years. Incredible stuff here folks, really inspiring.

BA got fired the first time for putting too much trust into Reyna and O'Brien  who were over the hill.  Then when BA got the job with us, he signed Reyna as a DP for us. And we all know how that worked out. He got too complacent and didn't get ready for the next cycle.

Also his success the first time was muted because we got lucky that Portugal lost to SK, even though they were down 2 men.

Dynamite display by the team and pulisic.
Thinking 1 more good game like this puts Sacha USMNT career on extended hold. Sad that Klinsy froze him out during his prime.
Hopefully motivates Sacha to achieve more even with noted issues re age mobility form

Looks like Bedoya lost a step...he didn't look sharp at all and his decisions weren't that diff Now I know why he returned from Europe.   It's reminding me of Sacha this season though it looks like we have gotten the best of him unlike Philly. Hopefully Sacha starts at least looking competent out there with us soon.

Sacha is there for depth. Injuries, injuries,  and suspensions, deplete our starters each match. Likewise for Ream, Rimando, and others. Without a strong bench we are weak.
