Bird in the hand vs the two super amazing 60 million dollar ones in the bush.

Point is, our ownership doesn't make decisions solely based on what's best for NYNJ. Maybe a local owner does the Adams deal that same way as it happened, but at least then we could trust they were gambling on a big future win for our club instead of eating shit at the behest of Mothership, gmbh. We've got a warehouse of bags of magic beans already!

A LOT can happen on the way to a 70 million dollar transfer, is all.

RED. BULL. OUT.

Heres the reality that people are ignoring. If RB Germany wasnt an option, Adams would have never resigned and would have left us cold a season or two before......

The New York Red Bulls previously kicked around Major League Soccer as the MetroStars with limited success. But after transforming under a new banner in 2005, the Red Bulls have become a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference. The club has made leaps of progress since its previous incarnation and now has its focus on bringing the league title to New York. exactly.  major prospects like him would never sign here if they thought we would hold them hostage with no path to progression.  Even RB Salzburg had to throw in the 20mm release clause to get Haaland originally.  Tyler didn't have to be here as long as he was

Possibly.

But also, this is still a fucked up situation.

Both can be true.

Thanks for the link.

""We're all just a bunch of young guys running around on the pitch," Adams says. "We want to play a brand of soccer with the same kind of energy that Red Bull is known for."

Whether he was referring to the company's approach to football across its various teams or to the caffeinated drink was unclear."

Reminiscent of Jesse's "this is an energy drink" debacle.

Only caught the last 25 mins but thought Tyler played well. He's playing as the deep lying Dmid which hopefully is where he will be utilized for the usmnt

Man I forgot how god damn fast this guy is. He has basically pure acceleration, damn near teleports to the ball when he gets his eyes locked on it.

5 yard burst. IMO most important god given physical trait in soccer.

absolutely NO reason as to why a multi point drop in the standings from 2018 to 2019.

Plenty of reasons.
None defensible.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

He was okay today.

Still getting sharpness and fitness after 6-months out. Union Berlin was really was organized and hard to break down.

Really happy to see him back with the league leading team.
