What is holding up the announcement is that the usmnt wants to do it when Crocker is fulltime. That is sometime in August.
There is a history between Crocker and marsch from the premier league.

He's a college freshman at Syracuse lol, wouldn't take his reporting as gospel.

Because he isn't based in Chicago anymore, and the sources of a college student 700 miles away regarding national team hires probably aren't as good as more established reporters.
