Edit: See it was post in the GDT. Do what you want with this. Wonder if they got FA though.

In regards to FA, per the Washington Post:

"Multiple sources confirmed the deal allows for the introduction of free agency but with conditions based on age and experience. It also raised minimum salaries and set guidelines for salary increases. Further details are expected to come out Thursday."

Thank god it got passed and no strike. Game ON!

The fucking cap is STILL below 5 million dollars at the end of this deal.  Top league by 2022, my ass.

I'm willing to bet this deal doesn't go the full five years, or at least that they play around with the DP rules some more resulting in higher payrolls independent of cap restrictions..  There is no way player spending stays that low for that long.   I am actually surprised the TV deal didn't include a requirement for more money to be spent on players.

Ours included.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Min salary is 60k. FA after 8 years in league + 28 years old. 3.5 mil cap.

Players got shafted. Guess pizza delivery wasn't a good alternative.

Ours included.

Which would mean Dax and/or Robles voted against it?

In a perfect world soccer would be the most watched game in America & MLS games would be the most talked about thing at the water cooler at work rather than those stupid reality stars. Betting on the games would also surpass what happens on NFL games. But that is not the case in 2015 because the league still needs to grow in American awareness and this new CBA while not perfect will help the league & players to achieve relevancy with the general public

4.2M by 2019!! What a fucking joke. How Garber continues to preach how this league will be a top league is embarrassing.

Damnit. That means a full season with this roster...

(NittanyMetros @ Mar 17 2011, 01:38 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

It seems Philly fans have signed up on metrofanatic to vote for themselves (in 'What team do you hate more?') . No real fan of this team would vote anything other than DC.
