Chicago just got one.

EDIT: we prob don't have to worry about how some of the players on the roster get offloaded. There are 2 MLS expansion team a-comin' and they will be picking players. we have no idea if they will change the rules as to how many players we can protect, if HGs/DPS are protected, etc.

Armas should be a goner no matter what.  That is the most important thing by far in terms of this team getting back to a good spot.

BWP gone and Lade gone are the other musts. Probably should dump Murillo too but I'm willing to give another coach a shot at getting him to play better.

New owner willing to spend would be nice but that's a waste of time.

The whole "not without a replacement thing" should really apply to Armas too, because in a pinch you guys realize that Red Bull will almost definitely just continue further down the list cheap American coaches with limited to no experience, right?

They aren't going to fire him. Even if he loses the remaining five games and the team crashes out of the playoff race, my hunch is that management is more concerned about spending dollars for HR to interview new candidates and therefore will keep Armas instead of having to go through that process.

They are in total penny pinch mode right now. Any chance to cut costs, they are probably going to take it.

I bet they are loving the fact that the tarps up at each home game means they have to pay minimum wage to a few less ushers. Saves a few bucks there.

This whole Red Bull experiment has to end. Sure there has been some good moments, but the bad ones sure have stood out like a sore thumb. We deserve an owner who is engaged locally and is passionate about its identity and not loyal to some energy drink company.

We need to spread that sentiment far and wide until we get new owners.

RED. BULL. OUT.

Petke did fine with no experience and Marsch had one whole year as a head coach before coming here.

Experience isn't super important for a coach in MLS; Armas is just a doofus. They can't really do a whole lot worse, unless they decide to bring Friedel in or something.

They never had any ushers by the tarps sections. Maybe save a few cents on not cleaning those sections

experience allowed coaches like Berhalter and Tata to outsmart our coaches in the '15 and '18 playoffs.

but having a coach with experience means paying the coach more.
