S-Loop banner is 100% complete and will be there tommorrow. I'm trying a new fastening system (velcro ties) so we'll keep an eye to see how it works out.

Also thinking about maybe corralling some funds via direct donation for a nice banner for the front of the upper deck. We can do a pretty tall one there like we could at SF; and I've got some sketches of two ideas. This is maybe for next season but the ideas I think are pretty good - looking to do a very elaborate design. FJust for information, we'd absolutely need to raise the money and pay in advance - too much has been done on credit to this point.
these are some of the influences for the idea i have sketched and have similar dimensions;

Greatest. Banner. Ever.

This must happen. I will take a second mortgage on my home for this.

Let me get the quote and I'll start gathering funds. I can't imagine this would take much more than $500 or so. Glad you like it, and we could stand to have something that uses the 'coat of arms' style badge.

I like this idea, over time we could have a great citywide banner representation.
That said, my roommate and I recently moved to Logan Square and if anyone in the area would like to make a local banner we would be down. Time might be running out, but it may be a good off season project.
let me hear you

I think Jerry is still planning on a "Joliet" one. A Logan Square one would be cool as well.
Also, I'm still collecting money for the Full Power banner, still a couple hundred short.

If you want to make one absolutely do it.

Yeah, my sister and I are still planning on making it but not for this season. I've been working so many hours I haven't had time to do jack. I'm gonna get busy on the banner during the off season so we have it for '07...gotta represent Joliet/815!
Liam, I had talked to you at the KC rain delay about bringing velcro ties for hanging banners. I'll have them at the USOC Final tonight, at least 2 of us will be there before 6 PM.

this is the idea i'm working with. 12m x 2.5m. It'd hang off the front of the upper deck. debating whether to use the full badge with name or just the center part. I may submit this for a quote - like i said this is a project for next season.
I know you weren't shooting for this, but that would be a HELL of a scarf. The very cool Chicago image on the left may be too detailed for a scarf, but if replaced by a S8C Fist on one or both ends . . . those babies would SELL!

It's already "inspired by" a bygone scarf.I know you weren't shooting for this, but that would be a HELL of a scarf. The very cool Chicago image on the left may be too detailed for a scarf, but if replaced by a S8C Fist on one or both ends . . . those babies would SELL!
