McGregor has a better chance of beating Floyd than SJ does of winning in KC, we all know this.Would love to see a SJ upset so our guys could go into Cincinnati knowing 1 win gets us a home final but I'm being overly optimistic lol

I still think Connor is winning lol
I'll lose all faith in boxing if he does.
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Connor could barely keep up with Nate Diaz in a stand-up fight. As a former pro MMA fighter myself, 2% chance he beats Floyd and I am a big fan of C-Mc.
As James Toney knows, MMA and boxing are two vastly different sports.

So you're saying there's a chance

I wouldn't even give Connor a 2% chance and I'm rooting for him. If Floyd was a different type of fighter, then MAYBE. But Floyd is as technical as they come and is very hard to land a good shot on even by solid boxers.
As for the Open Cup, San Jose has a chance. Don't think many teams can beat KC but will be rooting as hard for that game as I will for us to be Cinci.

well, well, well...
C-Mc winning would be an upset of Buster Douglas proportions

Nate Diaz also has shit for brains so it's hard to knock him out even though Conor almost did it a few times. When's the last time Floyd was even hit that hard to the head? I don't see Floyd knocking out Conor, he hasn't knocked out anyone since 2011 and all his fights since then has gone the distance.Connor could barely keep up with Nate Diaz in a stand-up fight. This is going to be a fun spectacle, it's been more pro wrestling than anything else so far lol

Floyd doesn't get hit because he prevents people from hitting him. That's why he is one of the greatest boxers who ever lived. If even the best boxers can't hit him in a boxing match what makes you think a guy from a completely different sport will be able to?Nate Diaz also has shit for brains so it's hard to knock him out even though Conor almost did it a few times. I also think McGregor gets disqualified when he throws Floyd to the ground and this whole thing ends up being a complete WWE style event lol

Well, at least Mayweather won, even though it took far longer than expected.
Why's that a good thing? I would have liked to have seen the women beater finally lose a match.

True boxing fans view MMA as a carnival act. Martial Arts fans see it as a mutation of their disciplines.
I compare it to bar-fighting. All that's missing are the tossed stools. (Hope that doesn't give them any ideas.)
Mayweather is an all-time great boxer, while McGregor has marketed himself into a $100 Million payday for his first professional fight.

Boxing has been a carnival for quite awhile. Ali, Don King, Floyd, etc etc have all been just as much about promoting fights in ridiculous manners
