You think Barlow is a better option? Lol

BWP looked ok last night.

BWP would be my choice for Saturday. Tough to gauge him last night on 25 minutes of a shitshow game with our best creative presence off the field.

Is Boy City still crying about the corner/throw in fiasco?

Hopefully. Thanks for the reminder, that was hilarious.
Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Old School ESC would have a chant about it.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

3 points here is essential if we want any chance of passing City, which even still would be unlikely. I'd be more than happy with a hard fought draw, as I really don't envision us picking up the win here.

Our path into the Top 3 will be passing Philly, who have a very difficult schedule, similar to us. Philly's remaining 7 fixtures:

vs. DC

vs. Atlanta

vs. LAFC

@ RBNY

@ San Jose

@ Columbus

vs. NYCFC

Meara
Murillo-Parker-Long-Taxi
Rza-CCJ
Muyl-Kaku-Royer
BWP

Bench: Louro, Nealis, Buckmaster, Davis, Fernandez, Sims, Barlow

This with Sims for Myul and Omir for Royer around 65.

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Lets hope so. Idc how out of form he is, he owns the Plastics. You have to start him, especially with White injured.

It's crazy with BWP to be honest.

I never thought he was particularly great at much on the field outside of the finishing. But his finishing is/was as good as it gets and that is highly valuable to a team that used to constantly play in the other teams' end.

Initially I thought he looked a step slower but the more I watch him the more I think he's OK still athletically.

He just doesn't look confident right now for some reason.  Hoping big time that he gets some type of accidental goal and that opens the flood gates.  He's had an created some really good chances lately.

His ability to see/make/time runs and finishing/heading is his skill set. He's an underrated passer. And he is a good presser (yes that is a skill even as a striker). He isn't particularly fast, or good at 1v1 though. He's not going to create goals by himself. I think he needs to play consistently to be in form.

Dan Ally or I would prefer to chant "You can stick your DC children up your ass". Simple and effective.

RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig and Celenio Eleazar.

RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee

"Team That I Dream Of" and "Faithful To The Colors"

Has Muyl been on the bench for a few games? I feel like the team misses him.

He is a treasure in this for that moment and this...
