Both of the goals scored by UCLA were ridiculous. 1st goal scored Juninho style (25 yards out). Second goal ala Donovan's 2011 MLS Cup winning goal after a great run (Barcelona passing). Tarheels score with a header after a Bruins defensive lapse for their first. Second goal - 30 yard shot attempted on goal, blocked by Bruin keeper but it hits the post, ball bounces back toward center of 6' box, Tarheel player follows thru and pushes ball into the net.
It goes to Golden Goal overtime
Literally the last second (00.01) of sudden death overtime - Tarheels take shot from 6 yrd box. Bruin keeper makes miracle stop sending ball out. It would have been the game winner in the last second of the game.
Game went to Penalty Shootout
UCLA chokes in PK - 3 penalties blocked/missed
North Carolina win and move onto the Final.
**Many MLS Scouts on field watching - we might be seeing some new Galaxy players here.

It really was an entertaining game to watch. Got a "sneak" peak of Twellman going hard in the paint and got to see a lot of good soccer. It really was a shame that UCLA choked in PKs. They were clearly the better team in the last 15 minutes/overtime, but thats penalties for ya. Way more entertaining than the final.
Apparently the college football rule of waiting a year after transfering to play isn't an NCAA rule, because that one superstud in the midfield (Spiez maybe?) won the championship with Akron last year... Pretty dickish to me to transfer to win another. Shows me no school spirit.
Note about the final: Charlotte had some crazy fans. They had a group about the size of LARS on a good day jumping, cheering, and chanting some MLS chants the entire 90. Pretty cool if you ask me.
