In my opinion just from a pure best value and best vantage point view you can't do better than the upper deck behind the goal. Just the absolute perfect spot to watch a match and be able to see play develop.

I once sat in first row down the center of the field, was pretty cool.

I've never sat up top but I've sat in club seats and slightly off center and close to the corner kind of. You end up seeing little when they shoot at the other end if you're behind the net lower level, maybe it's fine up top. Midfield is cool but it's just kind of weird for me, I end up thinking shots are on net and then see the replay it was well wide.

In hockey I find the corner where the team shoots twice to be best just to give an opinion on the kind of guy I am.

Except being one!

Not gonna lie the most fun ive ever had at a game was being with the supporters for the 7-0 game.

For viewing the game I like Sec. 228, its close enough to the supporters but not endline so you can see both sides well.  but honestly all the seats in the house are good.  Would echo others who say in beginning try out a couple areas and see which spot you like most.  Welcome to our life full of fun and disappointment.

Welcome!!  I wouldn't go full season ticket this year.  Get a feel for the stadium.  The sun and time of day can have am impact on your viewing pleasure.  My favorite seats still are the STH seats I had to leave behind in section 107.

I've only been outside of 101 twice in RBA. First time was the 3-0 friendly win against Juventus. Stood in 107 for 15 mins, got bored, went to 101. Friendly against Benfica, I was in 130 for a half. It was ok, but then I went to 101 in the 2nd half.

Thank you everyone for the advice! Cannot "Like This" all of the posts because I've reached my quota after the first few :)

Couldn't change my avatar after singing up to the forum pending administrator approval :) Place Z on avatar for now, hope he is not a controversial figure in the area :)

Spent three days in Harrison last weekend looking for apartments. Most likely will live at Vermella next  to the stadium.

Thanks again to you all for the advice!!!

First things first. Lose the DC logo.

Thank you!

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

if you get seats in the lower rows in south side of 227 or north part of 228, you have wonderful full pitch views, good access to supporters, and RAPID access to toilets and beers (and get there 1st to avoid lines).

It's also one of the longer walks out of the stadium so after we bomb out of the playoffs there's time to reflect upon this grand tradition, assess performance and ascribe blame, join others in shaking your head and saying "f---ing hell...", take another piss before exiting, and freeze your nuts off.

(But not this year, of course!)
