Yep Chavez is a cunt.

+1 That call against Holgersson when Chavez jumped into him was a joke.

Too bad he will have to sit or play outside if both Marquez and Taino are fit and ready ... just like BACKE will keeping playing the swede until he breaks his legs ... the biggest problem on this team is Hans BACKE .. the guy is a fool..
sigh, who to blame? who to blame? oh BACKE seems ideal .

dax bad pass also resulted in a SJ goal. not sure why he is getting so much praise.

if anything - henry/cooper should get the nod for hero.

and this game was loss due to keel and holgersson poor defending. they shoud be a bum. marquez had an avg game. nothing great but wasnt terrible. folks would be singing a different tune if cooper or henry finished some marquez's passes.

Back from the game. 2 great goals. Particularly happy for Dax. Thought Keel was the best of the defenders

What happened 2nd half?, it was a stinker. Have to give credit to the 'quakes whose midfield outplayed us in the 2nd half. Maybe Rafa motivated the quakes to do better, as Rafa disappeared and Dane went quiet. Which put an already fragile defense under more pressure. No answer from Backe as how to change the second half.

Was Chavez a flopper? Sure, but that wasn't the reason we did not win.

Ryan Meara must be getting a sore back from picking the ball out the net. Competent game though.

Holgerson was having a "Taylor Graham" game........the second half he was getting stuck with the ball...although I blame Rafa for losing the midfield.

Great fireworks after the game. I want one of those rotating fireworks firers.

Attendance: About 15K ish.

MOTM: Dax.....getting better every game,,,,,needs Tainio back ASAP.

BUM: Rafa. When he's not 100% (mentally and/or physically) it hurts this team

The first SJ goal is at least 50% on Dax

He gave the ball away in a bad spot but our defense had a decent shape when the turnover happened, Wondo simply made a fantastic one touch ball through our defense that set up the goal. Am I the only one that thought San Jose earned both of their goals? I'm having trouble pegging a single person or mental lapse for either goal.

I think Meara should win "MLS Save of the Week" for his goaline save of Miller's foolish attempt of a clearance. This would have to be an MLS first....a keeper's SOTW from a shot by his own player!!!!!

I thought that was one of his worst performances for this team -- which is saying A LOT.

here you go, a little bit of search engine magic gets me to this:
"Longest Wipeout ever done in 101 was 8 minutes during a televised Thursday home game against CHICAGO, I think it was amongst JPA's first games with the team."

http://www.soccerpub...showtopic=33149

Correct. Reason being it was started up around the 25-30th minute in that game, and it. just. kept. going.

Best Wipeout, personally, was the DC home game in 2008(?), youtube video shows at least 4-6 guys trying to crowd surf at the same time.

That was also the debut of "metro boys ain't nothing to fuck with". That was the game where we scored 2 goals in the first 90 seconds...

I'd really like to do an extended Wipeout again... was epic back in the 07-08 years. Wipeout 38! Wipeout 38!
