Hoping for 99 or 09-type season.

Only on metrofanatic would people host for their own team to fail.

Disgusting.

The general consensus among longtime fans and posters here is that Red Bull has overstayed its welcome.

People are angry, and it shouldn't be hard to figure out that a person who joined the site 2 weeks ago and has a completely different opinion isn't going to be welcomed with open arms.

Sorry if that offends you.

But is it our team anymore?  Has it ever really been?

Let's just take news and spin it however we want and create stories that aren't. That is the way to be taken seriously as a movement?

1st off, gfy

2nd it hasn't been "my own" team since 2006 until Petke showed up and made me care more than I did. But as of January 7th, this team could fold for all I fucking care. And they can take you "Red Bull Super Fans" with them.

3rd: It isn't only on MetroFanatic you'd see this, because I'd tell it to anyone live and in person as well. Fuck Red Bull, fuck this "organization" and Fuck Ali Curtis.

Sometimes rooting to lose and trying to lose actually helps the team succeed more in the future.

See: Pens trying to lose vs Devils to be the worst team then drafting Mario Lemieux.

Honestly, you have to be a total fucking schmuck at this point to be a massive pro Red Bull person, the kind of guy that still denies his girl is cheating on him even after seeing a video take of her getting pounded out by his friends. These people have legitimately no self-respect for themselves and frankly should just be cut loose...they deserve Red Bull, truly.

How many times do they need to prove to you they give zero fucks about you as a fan? How many times do they have to spell out for you that you are not even remotely a major priority for their lifestyle brand project?

What possesses someone to walk into RBA in full on Red Bull gear in full knowledge of these facts, and sing Red Bull and have the audacity to criticize those that demand Red Bull exit stage left? Its fucking embarrassing. Over what exactly, some bullshit Eric Cantona saying (a guy that played for like half a dozen clubs), some bogus claim of loyalty no matter what? Give me a break.

He was the Director of Soccer for only one club, though; he put his heart into that one and there'll never be another for him.
