A few ESCers watched PDL Copa lose 2-1 to NJ Motown Celtics (who?) on Wednesday. Looks like the Morristown side will be traveling to Rochester in the next round.
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Use the Open Cup for guys who need minutes. Marsch usually goes with something pretty close to the top team and that hasn't worked out so just use it on guys who need the minutes and hopefully we get lucky and draw home field advantage.
Etienne will probably be big for that. Gulbrandsen same. Veron in the same boat.
-----------Gulbrandsen-------
Etienne----Sacha----Veron
---------Davis---Adams
Lade Long Perinelle Murillo
Something like that.

Time to lose to philly again in the usoc and win the last two mls meetings against them... Sometimes it's just that easy ...

Drinking today (I know, you're shocked) with an old-time Morristown soccer guy, and he didn't even know this club./s re: MoTown Celtics? We do know their coach.

So, Ocean City v. Harrisburg May 17.
Some of us have been to OC previously. Cold!

Go to the Ocean City Coffee Company, best coffee I've ever had. They roast like 100 different flavors, they are my favorite part of my annual September vacation there.http://www.onceametr...t-round-results

As for the cup, saw that Reading plays the Cosmos. I would not be shocked if Reading won as the Cosmos aren't any good at all (in fact NASL at this point isn't very good to be honest). If that happens the real winners could be boy city because then they may actually win a game in the competition.
