Oh yeah, I've heard of that guy.
Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which "unskilled people reach erroneous conclusions and make unfortunate choices but their incompetence robs them of the metacognitive ability to realize it." The unskilled therefore suffer from illusory superiority, rating their own ability as above average.

That would mean a Lance Armstrong jersey would work quite well since he has repeatedly messed with the French national psyche. They might not be sophisticated enough to notice Armstrong in a soccer context. Perhaps a yellow bicycle jersey would work better.

Why the fawk is Landon being called up when we're in the middle of a playoff push? I have no doubt he'll decline, I hope.

More from Jurgen on the MNT Roster

On the situation with MLS players who could be involved in the MLS Cup final:
“We have a very positive line of communication with MLS. We agreed that whoever will be involved in the final will be released after the game against France, which gives them more than a week to prepare.”

Ream not getting called up is a step in the right direction. I think Gonzalez will get his chance soon enough.

Annoying.

This Orozco-Fiscal and Rogers business is just baffling.

The aformentioned two have now become the new Bornstein and Clark for the USMNT.

Landon should decline and give Jurgen Herc's phone number...

If you're not creepin', you're not trying...

I understand Omar not getting called in this time...MLS Cup playoffs...but Orozco AGAIN

WTH is Alfredo Morales? Never heard of him & where is Herculez Gomez? <_<

I've given Klinsi all my confidence...and still have it...but thought he was going to use more players. It seems like the same roster, every game. Just a bit frustrating!

L.A. Galaxy - 4-Time & Back-to-Back MLS Cup Champions!!

Brady Hoke - returning U-M to glory...Go, Blue!

USA Soccer - Don't Tread On Us!

Colombia - returning to the World Cup after 16-year hiatus!
