This team really need a right back. Instead, they attempt to get another midfielder. Am I crazy, or did no one paid attention how Philly schooled us by attacking our weakest point defensively in not one, but two successive tries?

I guess Philly either passed on him, couldn't come to terms or is still negotiating.

Barnetta (Swiss international) they just signed plays the same position. My guess is that Dittborn was the backup choice.

sounds more like, "lets bring him in and negotiate because right now the price is too high and keep him here with hopes of getting something done" more than "trial".

Barnetta (Swiss international) they just signed plays the same position. My guess is that Dittborn was the backup choice.

They could use two new wingers, not like Dittborn would go to waste. Bigger issue is they're out of international slots after the Williams trade.

They were already out when they signed Barnetta. To bring him in, they had to get a green card for one of their foreign players.
