Ugh. We only have a positive elimination history (lumping playoffs and OC together) against a couple of teams: Cinci, Colorado, Dallas, NYC, RSL, SJ, and then only barely. 3-1 vs RSL and 2-0 vs NYC, all others we edge either 1-0 or 2-1.

All three teams above us are away.

Atl At Lafc
Philly at Montreal
Dc at Chicago.

No chance they all pick up 3, huge game to get us back into fighting for two playoff Home games.

Dc at Chicago.

LAFC last remaining team undefeated at home.
CHI have lost only 2 of 12 at home.
MON have dropped 4 of 10.
DC & PU both 4W-3T-4K away, ATL 3W-7L.

FWIW, RB are 7-1-3 at home, Cbus 1-1-8 away.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

it's why the dropped pts to teams below in the standings are always unacceptable, irrespective of who's coach.

There are things within control and things that are not.

For the most part management cant control injuries or individual player performances on the day. No one can control Valots health and no one can control a Murillo brain fart or a Muyl point blank miss.

Thats why its so important to get the things that ARE in your control correct. Like making player signings to compensate for Valot, Murillo and Muyl. And not making horrible coaching decisions like giving away the midfield in a game you lead by taking etienne and Kaku off and putting a still not 100% BWP on the field.

Good thing we arent playing a better team. Davis and RZA tend to get rag dolled in the midfield when they are paired together.

Yeah that pairing isnt great defensively. Which is why I think we need to sign a proven CDM for depth. 1-2 year deal. Veteran. You are here to shut games down late or fill in the defensive duties if casseres goes down or needs a rest

We have one of the lowest payrolls in MLS. This is an easy pickup.

2 transfer windows and no replacement for Adams.

CCJ is the closest thing to a 6 we have and the only ball winner on the first team. If he were to be out for an extended period of time wed be screwed, because I highly doubt we are adding reinforcements in CM.

Anyway, I figure Armas will run out his standard lineup

Robles
Murillo-Parker-Long-Kemar
RZA-Davis
Muyl-Kaku-Royer
White

major flipping of tables and kicking over chairs would occur if Armas did it.
