Eddard Stark's sword ICE is now on sale, I wish the blade was darker like they describe it in the book.

Really? They show quite a bit of both, although Arya is easier to pick out of a line up.

Yeah, I read the Dunk & Egg stuff. Good reads that make me think they aren't just there for fun. As we get deeper into the series, it seems that these side stories give us a lot of background.

Carolina sounds boring!

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which "unskilled people reach erroneous conclusions and make unfortunate choices but their incompetence robs them of the metacognitive ability to realize it." The unskilled therefore suffer from illusory superiority, rating their own ability as above average.

I would just go to the library, but one of the other three people in town who can read has it checked out.

Just purchased the books from Amazon.

I've got friends here in NC who are already into it.

I'm going to grow a beard and invest in a good suit of chain mail for viewing parties.

For those super-nerds out there, George R.R. Martin is coming to Pasadena next week for a signing.
