COMPLETELY STUNNED  <_<

For first time, really questioning Klinsmann's actions. Just can't see us getting out of the group without Landon. I know he's not in great form right now but you can't tell me that Brad Davis is a better option!

I really hope that Klinsmann knows what he's doing & that Julian Green does in Brazil, what Landon did in Korea...but, for now, MAJOR mistake!

No Landon Donovan in the World Cup?

I am stunned.

This was clearly a political move on Klinnsman's part.

And if the US don't advance through the group stage, it will be the only thing we remember about Klinnsman.

I always put trust behind a coach and their decisions but to not include Lando absolutely gutted me. So, you're going to tell me that players like Green, Johannsson, and Bedoya are better than Lando? I've seen the matches with these guys playing and they do not offer much. I can understand taking one player that's young, inexperienced, and has that "free spirit" quality; I think about SVE taking Walcott on the England squad to the cup even though he was totally unproven. You bring in Lando as a sub and you instant get years of experience on the pitch. This entire ordeal reeks of Hydra! I am calling for a full investigation. The U.S. will be damn lucky to get 3 points out of the group. Ghana is the only match that I'm realistically expecting a result. As for Germany and Portugal; all of the players on those squads are going to run circles around the U.S. Jesus, Ronaldo is on fire at the moment and he could probably take down the entire team on his own. So it goes like this, '90 team doesn't make it out of group play, '94 team makes it out of group play, '98 team doesn't make it out of group play, '02 team makes it out of group play. '06 team does not make it out of group play, '10 team makes it out of group play, '14 you know exactly where this team is headed. Good luck to the team …. as John Reis sung, "my sights are low."

I'm still in a state of disbelief that Landon's not on the team.  I cannot believe that he is not among the top midfielders on the list.  I think Klinnsman is making a huge mistake.  There is talk about personal issues between the two, which I'm starting to believe is the reason for his exclusion. Leaving Donovan off the team is just a bad idea.  If Klinnsman is focusing only on 2018, well that really pisses me off.  You play for the game in front of you, not for ones in the future.

Ugh.  I don't feel good about this cup.

After watching Landon's comments about his exclusion from the WC roster, I'm more convinced than ever that this was totally a personal decision, not a soccer-performance one. More than that, even if the USMNT has a successful Cup in Brazil...really hope we do...I think JK will forever be stigmatized by this decision. After all, Donovan is still in his prime, the face of American soccer, and, most importantly, was having a good camp, so there doesn't seem to be any legit justification for his exclusion!

I will support the USMNT 110%, as always...though, I don't see a successful WC in Brazil, unfortunately...but JK's "legacy" has forever been tarnished IMO.
