In the post-game interview, Kemp said after his home run, Magic shouted a complement. Kemp goes on: "And then I thought 'Hey, that's Magic shouting at me..." and then he giggled.

I know that's not enough to turn the team around. But it's enough for today.

Well said.
It's good to know I'd have the same reaction as Matt Kemp.

Another great win tonight, Billinglsy pitching a gem, Kemp stealing bases and Either hitting ropes to drive in some runs. Granted, the Pads look pretty awful, but it is important to beat the teams you should (the G's could take a lesson here - still in disbelief from losing to the Revs AT HOME).

Wow. Vin Scully to miss today's Dodgers home opener with a bad cold.

Edit* he might miss a few more games, I'm hoping the games get rained out instead.

Anyone catch White Sox pitcher throw a perfect game? Ump helped. The Mariners batter checked his swing, but it seemed like the ump didn't want to be THAT guy and ruin it. Humber becomes 21st pitcher in MLB history to record a perfect game.

Bryce Harper is the real deal... We were at the game yesterday and when Uribe hit the curling fly to right center, any handful of CFs would lost it in the sun but this kid raced it down, reeled it in and fired it back to the infield...

All of us were bummed about the loss of the RBI but we all stood up and applauded the kid's ability to play...

Just an amazing display of athleticism and baseball IQ...

And the Dodgers swept the Expos on top of that...
Lakers (16x Champs) Dodgers (6x Champs) Galaxy (4x Champs) Broncos (2x Champs) LA Kings (2012 Stanley Cup Champs)

Budlight (Weekend Champ)
