And don't regret it at all.  The man hoisted the shield with Red and Black on his arm as he damn well should have.  He learned, understood, and respected the history of this club.  Best of all, he WANTED to learn about the history of this team. One of the greatest footballers of this generation wore the colors of Metro on his arm every single match this season.  He deserved to have a true piece of Metro memorabilia, and I'm proud that he celebrated with that scarf on his arm.

His strike changed the tone of this match.  Make no doubt about it, the man is a Metro legend.

Was it the red black and yellow one? Saw him wearing it during the postgame near the benches.

He was STILL carrying it around in the locker room after the game!

Yeah, they showed it on TV. Henry was carrying it over it shoulder,  came over to Cahill, and wrapped it around himself and Timmy.

Awesome job getting him the scarf. It was the perfect tie between then and now. Henry (he of the Metro Armband) was the perfect guy to carry it.

And to think I didn't take one, back in the day, because of the Mickey D's logo!

I was next to both of you - couldn't believe you threw your Metro scarf out there, but was impressed when TH picked it up & slid it on his arm.

I threw my scarf and it landed behind the goal. Then I think Jamison hands Petke a scarf as he stood in front of 101. It is possible that it was mine that Petke was wearing walking off the field. I am very happy about that.

RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee

Major shout out to JerseyTexan for hooking me up with a solid piece of 97 Metro swag after the game though.  Really appreciated.
