Kolo Toure approach apparently.

I don't believe it, the team isn't aiming for big names anymore and Marsch said that if they get a DP, it would be an attacking player.

Or the fact that we have enough defenders right now. If they're getting a DP it's going to be a left winger or a striker (and I can't see it being a striker.... they're not going to let a DP striker sit on the bench).

Yeah I highly doubt this is real. Have too much depth at center back right now and the starting two are playing very well right now with Zubar (with his limited time) playing well and AJB playing well with the baby Bulls . If we get yaya maybe I'd believe it

Dude is way past it. He'd be the typical example of a past his prime guy coming for a vacation. Want no part of this and I don't buy this rumor at all.

Kolo Taure is not coming to our team.  We don't have the money for players like him anymore.

first of all, i feel like i need to uninstall my browser after my computer displayed the graphics on that twitter page.

I agree with Rooney22 - we had pretty good success with an aging defender formerly based in Europe whose career never reached the heights of Kolo's.

There's a saying in hockey that you can never have too many defensemen, I would be for adding talent at the top of the depth chart.

The only real downside/question mark is how into it would he be.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

As mentioned above, Kolo was not garbage for Pool this year.

But also as mentioned above, it just doesn't fit... CB is not a need for us anymore.  Miazga looked great, Perinelle same, and Zubar looked very good in his first game.  We have 3 starting caliber guys at that position.

Attacking is the only need.

Do not want - do not need.

LW only need apply

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Considering our one glaring need is at LM, there is a brother probably available who can play on the left.. about the same age as Kolo

He may have played decently with Liverpool but he's a squad player. How would he hold up at his age as a consistent starter?
