Should be OK, we have to assume Egbo is good enough to cover at least a handful of games here and there.
Omir I don't really see getting a ton of playing time anyway.

The New York Red Bulls previously kicked around Major League Soccer as the MetroStars with limited success. But after transforming under a new banner in 2005, the Red Bulls have become a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference. The club has made leaps of progress since its previous incarnation and now has its focus on bringing the league title to New York. If we make the Olympics, a new team will be selected.
If they have the Olympics.

This is just for Qualifying, right?
If we make the Olympics, a new team will be selected.

Correct. Three senior players would be added to the roster and the bigger name U-23 national team players might also be called in.
"They better keep playing that RB Arena update because that unbuilt stadium is the only positive thing about this soft-drink-selling, coached-by-a-dumbass, trading-good-players-for-shit, hopeless, retarded, club." - MetroFanatic
"It was always six weeks away. Every month, [Nick Sakiewicz] would say, we're six weeks away from the stadium. It's been the longest six weeks of my life." - Mike Petke
"I think every country can learn everything about each other. If the whole world can be together, it can be good." - Mathias Jorgensen
"I want to give you lots of titles for your happiness. Lots of hugs.” - Fabio

Well, they don't want to break from tradition from the senior team.

too bad for them. Hope they want to show what they are missing.
EDIT - yes very strong team. Hope they get to add Adams, Pulisic and the like.
Of course it will be cancelled just when we have our best possible team in years.
Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

The forwards are all known names and accomplished.
If we qualify, I hope our guys get selected.

They can send a combined team of U23s who play for both DC United and NYCFC instead.
