Looks like a CBA has been agreed upon.

Through 2027. 40% increase in salary cap (I think).

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

On the Draft Kings mobile app, RBNY are +240 underdogs to finish above NYCFC in the standings this season. I'm much higher on our team's outlook than most others on this board so naturally I took that bet (for reference, nycfc are -375 favorites to finish above us)

What does this mean, in layman's terms?

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

What does this mean, in layman's terms?

If you were to bet $100 on RBNY, at +240, you'd be paid out $340 ($240 profit).

If you were to bet $100 on NYCFC, at -375, you'd be paid out $127 ($27 profit).

So, DraftKings is fairly confident FC>RB

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Although I think our chances are complete shit this year. I would take Metro to finish ahead of City at +240. That is a good payout rate.

If you're going to bet that, do it on DraftKings. They have us at +4000.

Where did you expect it to be?

Blame MLS for having Houston vs San Jose as their first game. The ratings man. What it all comes down to.

Wait, I had not realized that Darlington Nagbe has won an MLS Cup with every team that he has played for (plus a national title with Akron).

I think I have been massively underrating him.
