For Friday, I implore you to refrain from curse-laden songs, chants or diatribes. Let's focus more on supporting the team and encouraging our civilian neighbors that we're not simply a bunch of knuckle dragging, mono-syllabic grunting neanderthals.
Thanks in advance

I agree with this 100%.the F-bombs need to get reigned in.
But then I'm completely sober sitting behind a computer keyboard.
Will try to remember this when I'm at the game.

Personally, the first time stood with the RS (besides the Barbados friendly with Sams Army) was at the UCLA game last year. It was really awkward because the cursing and sexually charged language echoed around the HDC because there wasn't many people there. There were kids all around us and I'm not into exposing young kids to that kind of stuff. Needless to say I sat somewhere else after half time.
About halfway through this season I finally gave standing with the RS another shot. Definitely not as awkward with the stadium full, but still. Toning it down a bit would be nice.
I know, I'm a softie.

short answer, yesdoes this include flipping off players and yelling obscenities at them? Or is this only yelling at the people around us?
well since both of us probably know who you're talking about (137 first two rows?), i nominate you and me to speak directly to him. and encourage everybody else to help police ourselves as needed.Edit: Also I think the biggest offender doesn't read the boards

I love how this is a genuine question in the context of an actual discussion.

The "Can you hear [blank] sing? I don't hear a fucking thing!" probably isn't a good idea. And people truly need to remember that the song "Guinness Boys" which "Riot Squad We Are here!" is taken from truly says LOVE YOUR WOMEN AND DRINK YOUR BEER.
As for a few high profile individuals, some gentle suggestions will be made. And yeah, flipping off EVERYTHING doesn't help much.
Lastly, we should NEVER call out a Galaxy fan. Whether in the stands or in the "Rich Field Seats", it's just inane and works against everything we are.
The FO has actually been pretty cool to us, but we have pushed the envelope a bit too much and in order to keep enjoying some of our gameday privileges, we gotta work with them.
So this Friday, let's show a marked difference. Nobody is TELLING you what to do. But please think of the Squad as a whole and make your own decision.

I'm guessing that the FO is asking this, because they've heard f-bombs on ESPN, and ESPN (Disney-bastards) is wary of the FCC.

Well, I guess it won't be as bad Seattle, where the ushers said they'd throw us out if we continued screaming obscenities.

Next you'll be telling us not to yell "fag!*" at players.
