Yea. As a move for the future, its hard to know the quality of this signing. For this year, when we need a reliable striker, its not enough. He needs his own separate day for an announcement. Im not a big fan of the signing but the window looks even worse if we didnt even get this guy.

put out a scout on Ferry Street.
Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

So let's say they did sign him. Now we wait for the visa. He is ready to play when, late September?
Maybe just call up LaCava and see what he can do.

So did this get done or what?
Not sure, but I think so, since Struber said we got 2 guys. Honestly though, looking at his accomplishments, I dont care if we signed him or not. Big thing now is whether Edwards is coming back.

Also RBNY IG has followed him, so it would appear an announcement is imminent.

he is at the airport in Brazil this morning.
He will never be in DC by game time.
We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Yes, he will have to watch the game on TV instead of from sidelines.

In time for game time? How about in time to play even a game? I cant wait to see how long it will take him to get his visa.

It was a joke.

It sure is. "Manoel, 20, has spent his entire soccer career with Grêmio, which plays in Campeonato Brasilerio Serie B. .... This season, he has scored twice in 637 minutes."
The guy is turning 21 later this year. This is not old of course, but still not exactly someone just starting up. To transfer for this guy with his lack of production against poor competition, even at this age, is quite astounding.

They continue to grasp at straws with their cheapness. Having an empty stadium here does not seem to bother them one bit. My advice is to stay away.
