The New York Red Bulls reached out to CS Emelec for the left back Jackson Rodríguez, a source tells me.

The 23yo has 57 games as a pro, 2 assists and has some experience when it comes to Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana.

The clock is ticking now

nothing like giving them leverage when the window closes in 8 hours.....

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Hard to know when they reached out. Hopefully its basically done and its only coming out now. This is the right profile for us and would be really good

Backup for a year or two and then into the starting role once Tolkin is sold. Decent move.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

The Emelec contingent in 101 might grow if we sign him...

ex coworker of mine is a lifelong Emelec fan and was the treasurer for one of the Emelec SGs based out of Roosevelt Ave in QNS, and his son plays for Bergen Catholic's JV soccer team, so heavily invested in soccer. He said the following re Rodriguez:

'Oh boy!! I hope not!! Our last good young player. Nice leftie. Fast, strong and can make nice crosses...we were all pissed off he was not in the starting line up the past 2 wks. And his back up is slow af !!'

RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.

RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee
