glad that the number is higher than what was initially reported. still wanted 750k, that would've been impressive.

NYCFC was not robbed. No refereeing call tilted a tight game. The rested team lost (the rested team was still resting during the game, especially on set pieces). From being marginal favorites going into the game, and riding the back of a club record five-game unbeaten streak, NYCFC was left embarrassed in front of the fans who bothered to stay to the end.
It was certainly one way to move the needle on wider interest in the rivalry. Both the New York Post and NY Daily News ran splashy spreads on Sunday, with the Post hailing the “New Bronx Bombers” while the Daily News went with “Rivalry? That’s bull! — NYCFC mauled in pathetic 7-0 stadium rout.”
