Damn I guess we didn't realize how devastating that injury was at the time. He has a long road ahead of him to recover. What a shame. Wish him the best.

So, we have a repeat of last year, we're an injury away from crisis in central defense. Your move, Ali Denis.

So we gotta roll with DP, Collin, and Long. We need another player in the mix. Can't just go 3 deep the whole year.

Oh hey look. Remember during the offseason when people calling for more CBs got flack for all the money we already have tied up there?
Also on an unrelated note, Lewis is also loaned to USL (and listed as unavailable, so I assume it's a full season loan without the option to recall). Thanks MLS for announcing what the team can't be bothered to.
If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

The international slot mystery is FINALLY solved. We have 9, including one we got from Houston PERMANENTLY in 2009. This is all we know about that:
Red Bull New York also acquired an international slot from the Houston Dynamo in exchange for allocation money.

In the running for best Metro trade ever? PERMANENTLY is a long time. Shocked the league would still honor it (although looks like RSL traded one to Dallas in 2005).
Haha, does this mean we still get one of LAFC's DP slots next season from the Guevara trade?

We got the 18(?)-year-old Cameroonian!

There's a comment, from the author, on the article above that says if we signed a non-DP replacement that his salary would not count towards the cap. Sounds like IF they sign another CB his cap space will just fill Baah's.Should have bought him out and not have his salary count towards the caplike nycfc did with mixx but that would have cost RB out of pocket expenses which we know they are not down for paying.

What do you do at this point with him? Release him at season's end?

not quite - we can go up to $250K on the replacement... doubt we'd go that high anyway
