Yeah, I think we do a pretty good job drafting compared to other teams.  Especially considering where we pick too.

Any legit depth that can play at the MLS level is huge.

Super!
Frankly, since I am merely a fan and a not a fancy American soccer writer, I'm going to congratulate Wright-Phillips on a well hit goal. If I was an American soccer writer, I'd claim that the recently retired Henry was wearing an invisibility cloak and carried the ball into the net for the obviously unskilled Wright-Phillips.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

They dont start on NHL squads. They are first sent to their minor league teams

That's not true either, plenty of guys never play a game in the minor leagues and it's happening even more frequently every year that these younger kids are making the team in the first camp.

#84 (from LAFC for rights to Danilo Da Silva).

We traded the rights to Danilo to LAFC and in return received the 4th round pick (#84) of the LA Galaxy?  Pretty sweet trade for LAFC.

Danilo da silva is already out of LAFC. If rbny gets someone that can contribute more than 10 MLS games then we will win this trade

I'm confused. The Galaxy had nothing to do with the pick or Danilo da Silva...

Idk.. I say trade away as many spots as it takes to get more TAM and international spots or whatever will make the other owners happy so NY can go get one or two big time DP and maybe also a CM to cover for the hole Adams left...
I just want Metro to win a title sometime in my lifetime.

Correct, but the MLS draft site is giving us the Galaxy pick for sending the rights to Danilo to LAFC.  Perhaps we can trade one of NYC's picks for the rights to a non-NYC linked player.

According to Wikipedia, LAFC traded their 4th rounder this year twice, first to Dallas for Shaft Brewer, then to us for Danilo. So maybe they needed to acquire one from somewhere else to complete the trade?

To be fair, we traded our 3rd rounder in 2016 twice (for Kyle Reynish and then for Bobby Convey).

We later found out there was an unannounced trade that we had the other pick from Vancouver back when we gave them Dane Richards.

Strictly best for us: Petke? Richards? Ream? Parke?

Don't forget Petke, Reem, as well.

lolol he didn't, your own post quotes him mentioning them ;)

I wonder if our academy network helps with our ability to find gems in round 3 and 4 of the draft? Like we're watching more college games than other teams or getting tips from our network of players?
