Miami looking scary

They are going to dominate certain teams and struggle against others.

It also looks like the sporting director is one Darryl Sullivan.  Is that his stepdad?

Dylan's dad, Tyler's stepdad

Don't we have an athletic trainer that use to work for the Denver Nuggets whose fans were thrilled finally left because of all the injuries they had?

The fired him middle of last season after Morgan, Ngoma were reinjured and nobody was healing in a timely manner.

They replaced him with a guy that was essentially his intern turned apprentice, whose prior experience was... NYRBII.

His assistants are guys whose experience are NYRBII and interning with the Jets, and another guy who has zero professional experiences.

They still have an opening for "Chief Medical Officer"...

It's no wonder our players take so long to come back from injuries.

Jerseys look good alone but the shorts make them look awful.

From Sandro press conference:

Duncan took a knock and might not be ready.
Tolkin likely ready (took part in 80% of team activities today)
Harper will be on the bench. Been training fully with team for about 11 days.
Vanzeir and Manoel will continue to start.
Morgan likely getting the same number of minutes, maybe a but more.
Ngoma... hamstring again... hope to get him ready in the next 2 weeks.
Hall has issues playing at night since he is 15 and labor laws.
Gjengaar isn't here, dealing with visa.

#1443392 18 year old CB Jair Collahuazo?

Posted by Brian.MLS on 28 February 2024 - 07:54 PM

Signed on a 1-year loan tot he first squad?    Is this why they bought an international slot ?????

NYRBII signing. Likely 4th string CB there behind Alexandre/OConnor/Gutierrez.

Elias Manoel performing well for the last 3 of 35+ matches and having a good preseason comes back to reality that he just isn't MLS starting quality.

We desperately needed someone who could score goals, were promised on field investments, and signed... Roald Mitchell.

Whats the deal with Lawrence, is he washed?

He's a headache. Marsch had issues with him coming back whenever he felt like it after a break and then Minnesota and Toronto pretty much had the same issues.

#1442980 At some point, Tolkin will leave

Posted by Brian.MLS on 22 February 2024 - 07:56 PM

Ofori was injured much of last season. In the beginning of the season he looked good. Gained a lot of muscle and speed and was looking good on the left side. Valencia looked more MLS ready and Jayden Reid (who was on a first team HGP deal) was third or fourth on the II depth chart at left back.

Jeff Bradley on X: "MLS has been a part of my life since 1996, starting as the MetroStars PR director before moving on to cover the league for ESPN and then working for TFC for seven seasons. Love so much about the league, but this "gatekeeper" act is a bummer. #SaveTheCup" / X (twitter.com)

He's got some legendary stories from the first couple seasons with the MetroStars.

Looking at the Miami lineup and bench for the RSL match tonight.

Alba, Yedlin, Aviles, Gressel, Busquets, Messi, Gomez, Suarez, and Taylor starting with Mota and Campana on the bench and the league is saying they are budget compliant is crazy.
