I know it's probably not my place to suggest things since I don't actually sit with you guys, but is some kind of anti-strike, non-blame placing protest/demonstration/whatever in order for the Aguila friendly? There's talk of sending letters in the lockout thread, but it seems like doing something at this game would get some pub.

I think that's a good idea. The thought of the league folding hasn't concerned me in a long, long time and now it feels very scary.

i'd tell that kid (if i were someone like alan gordon or ralston or hartman) to take all his daddy's fucking money that he used to come to this game and shove it far up his fucking ass if he doesn't want players standing up for their rights.

now if the kid wants to take his daddy's money and give it to me and/or at least convince owners to give us basic rights while i continue to make less money than your bitch ass daddy...then i'll keep my head down (if i were them)

I hope you realize you just called Twigg a "bitch ass daddy". You're going to die.

last time i called twigg a bitch ass mother fucker he bitched slapped me and i was held back before i could retaliate, thinking to myself "if idda got ahold of him.." he later apologized to me in lot 13 cause i didn't done did it and then i realized he would have probably killed me in seventeen different ways.

that said, i think twigg knows better than to allow his son to be anti-union and/or not let these players stand up for their livelihoods. a lot of those players are hard workers who deserve basic rights. twigg's son isn't part of the 'mans' system that you seem to love. and to let samo give a finger to the players would be as bad as me throwing something back at chivas scum.

i'm going to be alive just fine isaac.

...

if i'm wrong about that, please dont' kill me twigg

For the record, Trace. I have no objection to players having free agency, which they technically do as once their contract with MLS is ended, they are free to seek options abroad without payment due to MLS. Until MLS is restructured though, you can't let your contract finish with MLS then resign with MLS and expect them to assign you (as Catamount has been analogizing) to a different department. Even then, I think it'd be nice if MLS could give the players what they want. It's an interesting negotiation.

Where the players lost me though is on the issue of a strike. For all involved, I think the best thing to do is to keep the ball rolling.
