Was reading an article about how Hall was released by Orlando and saw this...

Hall is the seventh-highest paid goalkeeper in MLS, behind D.C. United’s Bill Hamid ($405,500), Real Salt Lake’s Nick Rimando ($370,000), Vancouver’s David Ousted ($302,570), Portland’s Adam Kwarasey ($260,000), L.A.’s Donovan Ricketts ($260,000) and Chicago’s Sean Johnson ($253,000), but about $60,000 higher than Seattle’s Stefan Frei and $70,000 above 2015 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year Luis Robles.

Best keeper in MLS and isn't even in the top 7 in pay, have to think he's asking for a raise. It's deserved

And wtf is with Hamid making more than Rimando? Rimando is a regular for the USMNT (bench) and most definitely more senior.

Hamid is DC's best player, so, by that standard I'm not surprised by his pay. Robles needs a raise, but, while we're here, MLS Coach of the Year needs a contract extension. We were told (though it may not be true) that he got a 1 year deal. F that noise, sign the man.

Well, Espindola is a DP now right? So yeah, if you're willing to give Espindola that much money, might as well make it rain for Hamid...

But 400k against the cap for an MLS keeper seems kinda like a waste? In league where many starting players make 200k....

I'd be okay paying the guy more. He's great.

Espindola is on 175k per https://www.mlsplaye...alary_info.html, so not a DP?

Robles is getting a raise for sure. 150k this year, possibly 220-250 next? Any more than that would be nice for him but not great for the team. I guess most people wouldn't object to giving him Roy's 200k.... :)

Incidentally, is there a way to see players' full contracts/options? I would like to know what Kljestan, BWP and Veron will be paid in the next year or two. Sacha was supposedly signed on a "multi-year non-DP deal" but I can't find more details.

Hmmm, this is the first time I've seen a discrepancy with the salary info posted on mlsplayers.com - Espindola is most definitely a DP

There is so way to see all the options and contract details, because calvinball

Robles is worth Rickets & Johnson money. Anything more, it wouldn't make sense from a team perspective even if he was worth more $.
