MLS mechanisms are impossible to figure out and there are no guarantees that this fucking club will actually spend. In a vacuum, though, I think you're fucking insane if you'd rather have Robles than Meara + an added $500K player.

Exactly, just like any salary cap league in North America. Would rather go with Meara and add a guy at $500k or 2 guys at $250k or whatever.
