Ahem.
Joe Tiernan says the Irish community were turned off the Red Bulls when Henry arrived so how they react to the possible arrival of Ireland would be interesting.
This guy speaks for the IRISH community?!?!?!
Well, I oughta...
RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.
RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee

Would definitely provide consistent performances for us.
"Obviously, I want to make a living (in soccer), to say the least," he said. "There's so much you can accomplish in the soccer world, and right now I'm focused on having a good season with the Red Bulls. Ultimately, our goal is to win the MLS Cup, and I see no reason why we can't." - #4 Tyler Adams

Well, the article got that wrong. I'm the spokesman for the Irish community and Henry is okay in my book at this point.

When you live in the 5 boroughs you will be asked for your opinion until then... speak for upstate NY.

You aren't Irish. You wouldn't understand.

It's the hope I can't stand.

The Irish Independent is saying that Stephen Ireland is coming next month.
Hey, Soler does have plausible deniability. I made the mistake of asking if Ireland was a reasonable possibility for THIS SUMMER. It never occurred to me to ask about the close of THIS window…

Henry has never won over fans in New York but there is a sense that he has been trying to do too much for the team which, when coupled to the familiar egotistical gestures on the field, has made him ineffective.
Say what??? And they know what they're talking about with regard to Ireland?

I don't see this happening but would be an incredible signing.
I remember his 08/09 season with Man City. Outshone Robinho in almost every game and was player of the season in my opinion. But then sadly his head got too big.

I certainly do not. During our discussion, I mentioned I couldn't really tell if Ireland would be an attraction or not to expats here, but based on multiple conversations with Irish people in the city, there were more than a few who refused to entertain the thought of attending a match once Henry was signed. My opinion on him did not enter into it.

You are talking about a player in full fitness who wouldn't need much time to get in some games.
Especially if Luke comes back, you are talking about a pretty loaded team.
Henry Cooper/Rodgers
Lindpere Marquez Ireland Richards
Miller Conde Holgersson Solli
Meara
A team with guys like Tainio, Cooper, and Agudelo on the bench is going to win a lot of reserve games as well.

I needed no font. Just don't want others here to think I'm waving flags I have no right waving.
And to clear up the elephant in the room, I am not back supporting the team. Until Red Bull is gone, I am gone. The reporter asked to discuss how Ireland's arrival would be received here. At no point did I say I am a fan.
