Nocita or Sserwadda would be hilarious, although less of a chance of losing Sserwadda with his international status.

Lacava would be another funny one

There's a bunch of solid players on the unprotected list.

I'm just glad that Tom Barlow will be on this team forever...

Until he is named captain or reaches the age of 30, whatever comes first.

In theory having someone like Barlow is fine if hes only playing in the last 10 minutes of matches the team is leading in.

Why you would want to continue to roster a player like that over someone more useful is another question.

Losing Ndam to another expansion draft would be funny. Losing Meara is possible, not sure if St. Louis can get a better keeper at a lower price or if the opportunity cost of not picking up an outfield player is too high for them.

Don't get protecting Barlow and hopefully we don't lose Ssewarda here.

Is there anyway we could give St. Louis some of that fake Garber money to sweeten the pot for them to take Klimala?

They can't be that dumb and their international slate is already pretty full. That's why I don't understand protecting Wiki.

Bradley Carnell takes him and converts him to pressing Left Back. Good crosser - Good Defender - Can draw a foul. You heard it hear first.

From MLS Soccer article.

This is perhaps the most interesting one to me. Patryk Klimala has not been great with the Red Bulls… but he’s still a former Poland youth international who has been the subject of multiple $4 million transfers in his career (Jagiellonia to Celtic, then Celtic to RBNY).

If I’m Pfannenstiel, I’m immediately scouring my Bundesliga contacts and pitching Klimala. Why wouldn’t they be able to get a $2.5 million bid?

On the non-cynical side… Klimala is a forward who presses. That’s what St. Louis will be doing, he fits the system. Maybe roll the dice on a talented young(ish) player that your environment could be better for than their previous

Bradley Wright-Phillips "I prefer it at Red Bull Arena, but it was OK. I could imagine it being good for a baseball crowd.

Klimala unprotected is honestly genius.

Who would take him? (Someone prove me wrong!)

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

So? He is never scoring that here. It will open up a DP slot (not that we need one) and clear out a massive headcase. I'll take that chance. Let him be successful elsewhere, he is not doing shit here.

We would start Tom Barlow while the front office spends 3 years looking for a replacement.

Then again, if they start now we will be better off than waiting until then end of Klimalas contract.

We have a better chance at winning all 3 trophies next year than that happening.
