Oof. 7-0 loss and zero shots. Ticos are not feeling the Pura Vida right now  :(

Get used to it with the expanded world cup coming. We're going to end up with Spain vs Syria or Spain vs Honduras in 2026.

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

Ghana finally scored an African goal. Previous 5 games goalless for Senegal, Tunisia, Morocco, & Cameroon.
USA scored one for CONCACAF. MEX, CAN, CR none.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

0-0 at the Half and Iran had the most chances.

Seems like Wales defensive scheme in the first 10 minutes of the second half is "luck"

Ball slammed off the right post, followed by a ball slammed off the left post and then headed into the goalie's stomach, who was laying on the ground

Didn't notice Queiroz was the coach of Iran.

This Iran v Wales match is easily the most entertaining game I've seen so far, and there haven't even been any goals scored yet

Took over again just a couple months ago.

After our 96 team, I'm not sure anyone would have imagined the success he would have coaching decades later.

Holy shit! All the pressure on US to tie or win tonight. They can still lose tonight and beating Iran will put them through as 4 points will beat their 3.

Until he was getting tossed in the air?

US can still lose, but not more than by 2 goals and have to win vs Iran by a 1 goal difference.

When I first read this, I thought: How do you win by less than a goal?

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.
