Our list of developed players who became/will become USMNT stalwarts kicks the shit out of any other MLS team.

during the 90s, tho, it was DC-heavy.

now in the age of Academies...we're the clear cut front runner. could've had 5 guys on the field at the same time, 3 of which spent time in the academy.

RIP Guillermo Romulo, Alexander Francis Orig, Celenio Eleazar, and my Mom, Resurreccion Eleazar.

RIP Cesar Castello, Mike Vallo, Glenn Stampiglia, Bob Paquette, and Warren Lee

So, probably a long-time BoyCity fan.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

The announcer mentioned Rafa several times during the broadcast, and suggested that his late goal in Columbus was the reason we missed the World Cup.

Hes not wrong. All we needed was one point. Anywhere. Two home losses were brutal

One of many, many reasons

Rafa at WC18:

Entered 1st two games around 70'. Helps Mexico close out games with win.

Rested 3rd game, Mexico loses 3-0 to Sweden.

Starts 4th game vs Brazil. Halftime 0-0, Rafa taken out at halftime. Brazil wins 2-0.

Correct. But, Columbus was the first of 10 Hex matches, and we picked that dropped point back up at the Azteca.
It was the loss @ T&T, where they knew what they had to do, and did not do it, that was brutal.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

They conveniently ignored the reason that scumbag is unable to set foot in this country.
Let's Go Buffalo!!!

Long is not even on the bench. What's the point?

Perhaps he will be in the squad Tues. v. Peru.

Forget the CB conversation; Long would be playing better than any of our midfielders right now.
