Well, that wasn't very pretty, but it was kind of exciting at the end. I feel bad for the Dallas defender.

I don't. He scored on us last week. Death to John. Well, okay maybe not death but that was a rather satisfying, less lethal alternative.

It's a shame that when someone scores you can't hear a loud, celebratory cheer.

Rapids 2 - 1 FCD

Which I was another reason why I want a hosted final. Pre-determined sites stink.

Yeah, having the top seed host the final is working wonders for WPS.

Yeah, having the top seed host the final is working wonders for WPS.

Something tells me that's not the problem with WPS.

As expected, horrible reffing so far.
Which loser is this with the whistle?

Baldomero Toledo. In my opinion the worst ref in the MLS.

I'm guessing this comment was made when Casey got attacked in the box. How was there no whistle? The defender was holding his arm with two hands. Then Casey and Benitez bump, Benitez goes down and clearly kicks Casey with the ball nowhere near him. Then Benitez takes Casey down.

Terrible reffing. As to be expected though.
Let's go Lakers! Let's go Angels! Let's go Ducks! Let's go Galaxy! Let's go Sol!

So I went to the MLS cup due to a free sweepstake giveaway from PEpsi MAx (too bad it was for these 2 crappy teams, but hey it was completely free) . It was cold as fuck, but oh well. What bothered me the most, is their supporter groups, damn they make the Galaxians look good. ANyways, hearing 3 different chants ( Fc dallas, colorado's, and the Toronto fans) singing the same songs, just changing the names, made me realize that we do HAVE to change our shit up!! I know I should post this in the CHants section but since were on the topic of the cup, I thought i'd post it here first. Anyways got to meet and drink with Buddle and told Bob Bradley in a drunken manner that he should have put in Buddle more in the WC was fun.

He's not the worst.

Marufo for one.

This is not to say it's an endorsement, but like Abby Okalajownoandakan, at least he was consistently bad.

I was thinking he must have been infected with NHL-refereeitis, cuz he was letting all kinds of stuff go uncalled. And I actually found it somewhat refreshing that he would bark at the divers to get up and play. Casey included. Casey's tough but he dives a lot, too. That could have played into the decision on the one in the box.

Yeah, the two of the three worst supported teams in the league by my count.

Did you get good seats? Free hookers?

He didn't go down when his arm was being pulled, nor when Benitez took a kick at his waist. He went down when Benitez hacked his feet (from the replays I saw).

The linesman should've seen that too, but he was probably too scared to flag for a penalty.

Toledo wasn't as bad this year as he was last year. Last year he was freaking atrocious.

I still think Casey embellished that one, too. It still probably should have been called, although Casey had a handful of Ihemelu's shirt as well.

And Toledo might have head in his head the non-call on Shea in the opposite end a few minutes earlier.

I'm just pissed the planes didn't crash!

Regarding the non-PK, they were both fouling the shit out of each other before the leg swipe so the best call would have been to call Casey for a foul. No whistle at all was just silly.

The Rapids' championship-winning victory over FC Dallas earned a 0.5 overnight rating on ESPN Sunday night, down 44% from last year (RSL/LA: 0.9, ESPN), and down 29% from 2008 (CMB/NY: 0.7, ABC).

hahahaha suck it Don Garber! Fuck Dallas and Colorado, no cared about this cup.

Dallas and Colorado had to go through security at the same time on their plane rides home today.
