Im not familiar with any of her stuff.

Neither am I. Do not know a single song by her.
But I have read a few of her pronouncements.

We are good enough to beat the best teams, and bad enough to lose to the worst teams.

Yet, you chose to respond.

Your advice, not mine.

Perhaps we all should take it.

That's not how it works Reggie. It's a two-way street. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. He can kneel, they can boo. His response indicates he doesn't get the concept.

Keep going. He can kneel, they can boo, he can say that's a disgusting reaction, you can have an opinion about his response, fans can stop going to the stadium or buying the guy's jersey, etc. That's what "everyone is entitled to their opinion" means. You don't get to decide that Reggie should be the bigger man and give up or stop responding (which the other side would inevitably claim as a victory, of course).

Nope.

Reggie crying about the boos means he thinks his opinion is the end all be all when to comes to fan reactions to kneeling.

If he actually got it, he would say he understands why some people are upset with the kneeling. Instead he just thinks it's "disgusting" as if every fan should just fully throw their support behind his actions.

Do you think the fans booing were decIcing how Reggie should feel about the anthem?

Slow progress.

Not sure what declcing was supposed to be; looks
like booing fans think kneeling shows disrespect.

I was just using the words Grelladinho used. Clearly the booers thought the knee lets were being disrespectful to the anthem. Grelladinhos comment wrote, Reggie Cannon doesn't get to decide what the anthem means for anyone but himself. I was arguing Cannon wasnt attempting to decide what the anthem meant for the fans, he was disgusted by their reaction to his kneeling. And that in fact the fans were deciding what the anthem should mean to Cannon by booing him.

I'm not sure why you are still getting hung up on this. The fans are well within their means to boo Cannon for kneeling. They weren't trying to decide anything for him, just voicing their disapproval.

I'm saying his response (in which his tone/thinking is that everyone should agree with his personal views) is off-target.

He seems to think that he was personally targeted.
Well, perhaps now he is.

Reggie was voicing his disapproval, not trying to decide anything for them. You were the one that said he was deciding what the anthem should for them. Show me where he said anything about how the fans should feel about the anthem? He was disgusted by their reaction to his kneeling.

He wasnt telling them they should kneel. He wasnt telling them not to sing.

Again, I'll take your word on it, since I can't claim to have read anything she's said or written.
