Lupe was in a short film that I've been trying to find for years. I checked her wiki and Imdb and couldn't find it in any of her credits. I don't remember the name of it. But, it was a short about a mature woman who thinks she's pregnant and Lupe plays her friend and neighbor. It's funny. Anyone know what film that was?

Legendary comic artist Joe Kubert passed away this weekend at the age of 85. Kubert began working in comics at the tender age of 11, eventually making his way to DC Comics, where he rose to fame drawing Sgt. Rock and Hawkman. However, Kubert will probably be best-remembered for founding the Kubert School, which has helped and trained countless artists to get into the comics industry, including his two (very successful) sons, Adam and Andy. In 1996, he also released Fax from Sarajevo, about his friend and European comics agent Ervin Rustemagić during the Serbian siege of Sarajevo; Rustemagic and his family spent more than two years hiding in a bombed out building, communicating with people mainly through fax. Fax from Sarajevo won Kubert both a Harvey and an Eisner. Kubert is already a member of the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame and the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame, and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Cartoonists Society. He's one of the great ones, and the comics industry is certainly poorer for his loss.

On the front page of CNN right now, there's the unintentionally ironic headline: "Risk of death at Every Turn" - but it's not talking about American movie theaters, colleges, or places of worship - it's about Aleppo, Syria.

Also, most of you dudes should mourn the passing of one of the most significant reasons you've ever had sex.
Helen Gurley Brown convinced young women of a certain caste to go out, get jobs, to have fun and bone as much as they could. She ran Cosmompolitan for decades and used that as a platform to preach the gospel of 'How To Please Your Man'.
