Tonight was a testament to it most of their runs came on the long ball. They need to do have timely hitting and it isn't there when it is needed.
Very Inconsistant with their performances.

this team is not that great honestly the sox depend so much on the long ball.

Was there last night, pretty sure all first inning runs came with 2 outs. I was very pleased with last night's performance, and so far Jayson Nix is having one hell of a season (AA, AAA, MLB). This is the deepest Sox team at 2nd and Short I can remember in my life time.
But this team still won't make the playoffs.

As an aside, what is worse is Peavy dissing the City. Screw him. If he doesn't want to be in the City, move on. Don't even consider making a higher offer. And if he used that as an excuse to get more money, screw him anyway for dissing the City in public.
