Not many, and not me, are arguing Klimala or Barlow are the answer. What we are saying is a guy with 4 goals in 6 years is not the answer. And yea, he was injured for a lot that. So hes going to be healthy now? Because people get injured less as they get older? Upgrade Klimala & Barlow. Mullins would be as bad, just in a different way.

he has been barely used as a sub since he arrived. that is a red flag when your other two forwards have been poor. if he doesnt start against dallas that is a bad sign.

Fletcher only has 2 more months to really show that he belongs. The next transfer window is July 7, 2022 – Thursday, August 4, 2022. if Fletcher is nothing more than a bench players, we should not pay a transfer fee for him. the loan should end and a replacement should be signed.

You are panicking about a Championship-level striker because he wasn't fully utilized while at half-fitness for the 3 weeks or whatever he's been here so instead you want to turn to someone who hasn't been able to contribute meaningfully at the MLS level in 4 years and retired. This is insanity.

Our offense clearly needs improvement.

Like others said, Patrick Mullins is an extremely weird hill to die on. You his agent or something lol?

If you scan YouTube looking for Bradley Wright-Phillips, youll find numerous goal compilations, a few interviews and, eventually, an excerpt from the grime mixtape series Lord of the Mics.

I don't care if he is on the Brazilian national team, played in La Liga or the Budesliga. The reality is that Fletcher has not performed well in MLS. He also has not been able to beat out Klimala or Barlow for playing time when they both are not MLS quality strikers.  Being half fitness is his fault. He should have been fit in the first place since his team was in season. if he is not starting these next few games, it is an issue.  these are major red flags. We don't have time to wait since a transfer fee is due soon if we decide to keep him.

What i am proposing is that we need to hit the reset button. We need to figure out this forward position. we need to get rid of Klimala, Barlow and Fletcher and bring in someone who can be a longterm solution for us. However, whoever comes in needs to be a guy who can contribute.

While we figure this out, we can sign a vet or two to see if we can revive their careers. If they are a bust, then you dont keep them at the end of the season. if they show any promise, they can serve as a mentor for the young kids at a low cost or they become trade bait for prospects. there is really no risk in taking a chance on someone who used to be good. this is not insanity. its being opportunistic.

Henry didn't get his shit together until like his 10th game. Take a deep breath.

klimala and barlow had more than 10 games.

Fletcher is on loan and has 4-8 games to prove that he belongs. If he doesnt, then it doesnt make sense to activate the transfer clause
